Feathers; soft, fluffy and delicate. Who doesn't love them? I suppose if you're allergic to feathers then you probably don't... BUT if you're not allergic then read on!
Feathers fit so perfectly into a wedding. They can play a small or a large role. I love the idea of using them instead of petals and confetti; sprinkled on the isle or thrown over the bride and groom. And as a button hole they're perfect as they won't wilt like flowers!
They look great on a cake or slipped into a bouquet and if you dip the end of the feathers into gold paint the results are stunning and the feathers can be used as decorations or place names.
Hanging feathers from the ceiling is unusual but I think it really looks fab! And such a simple thing that anyone can do for a minimal cost.
Feather wedding dresses aren't for everyone (I can't decide if I love them or hate them) but they're certainly different. What I do adore are the feather capes! Great for a chilly wedding day.
So what do you all think? Will you be using feathers for your big day?
