Being the year of the coloured dress trend, I thought I'd show off one of the most romantic of the colour spectrum. Red has been used since the late Stone Age for decorating bodies and since has been a symbol of the heart, romantic love and courtly love as well as seduction and sexuality. So what better colour to wear on your wedding day! It gives your groom the sign of love as well as making you look sexually appealing to your new husband. And the fact that it looks amazing! Of course you don't have to don a completely red dress, and can instead choose to have a gown with red detailing. And with big name designers such as Vera Wang creating ruby red beauties, it is sure to be a favourite. A great colour all year round, although preferred at Christmas and Valentines Day (for obvious reasons), it can also be broken up with a coloured sash, and below you will see a great example with a gold-ish looking shade being used. It is also a fabulous colour to wear if you want to have lots of sparkle incorporated into the design as it will stand out for the crowd to see.
