Vegas or Bust?

Everyone loves a good old Vegas wedding. Elvis impersonators and gambling infused with love and marriage. But not everyone can afford to go half way around the world (or for our readers across the pond, a few hundred miles) to Nevada to get hitched. So why not bring Vegas to you!

Such an easy theme to use, you can work with various colours, although to give a proper Vegas feel I would stick with blacks, whites and reds. Placing hearts, clubs, diamonds and spades into favours and invites will also bring the casino idea into life. Your cake can be simple, with bold precise colouring and small detailing, to having a large crafted cake with a Las Vegas Sign as a topper, or maybe have cupcakes with a poker chip design on each one. How about an Elvis impersonating singer to get everyone rocking and rolling the night away. You can also hire casino tables for guests to play on which normally will use 'fun money' so guests don't end up out of pocket, but get the experience of rolling the dice and spinning the roulette table for the big win.

The Bridal party can go to town, with fun nail prints and designs on tights and stockings, and perhaps influencing poker chips into hair pieces if you want to go all out! Grooms could wear tuxedos, or (for those who have seen the hangover) how about getting some old school coloured suits to get the fun factor in. And of course you will want to arrive in style, so a sports car, or as loved by Vegas, the stretch Hummer is a must!

Viva Las Vegas!
