<< Real Wedding Alert >> - From A Galaxy Far, Far Away...

It's Bank Holiday Monday! And what a fabulous weekend it has been, the perfect weather for all you brides out there! Now today I am very happy to have a real wedding from the wonderful Camrovision Photography on the blog today, but one with a twist! In dedication to Star Wars Day which was on Saturday (if you have never heard of this, it refers to May the Fourth - as in May the Fourth be With You) we have a truly awesome Star Wars wedding. Now, for those who know me, you'll know I was jumping up and down with excitement at the gallery displayed in my emails! And for those who don't, I love Star Wars. Big time. Proven by my Star Wars Lego on the mantle above my fireplace!

What a lot of people don't know, is that the love story of Hans Solo and Princess Leia is one of legend (well, in the geek world anyways). Many couples love to make use of the infamous lines "I love you""I know", exchanged by the passionate pair right before Solo ends up being entombed in carbonite, with Leia fearing she will never see her love again. Of course, she does, and the galaxy is saved from the dark side, and yadda yadda, I'm pretty sure you know how the ending goes!

Now this wedding treat was a complete surprise for the guests as well as the groom, a massive Star Wars fan! Picture it. The best man fumbling around in his pockets. The rings are lost! The looks of despair from the groom. And then everyone turns to see one of the most villainous creations walking down stairs. That's right, Darth Vader! He made his way down the aisle and safely delivered the rings to make the couples marriage official across the galaxies. Even the table's had a Star Wars theme incorporated!
