Colour popping ideas

Morning everyone, brides are always coming up with new and exciting ideas to make their days extra special, and here is a great one colour popping!! Adding a bright splash of colour here and there like under your gorgeous wedding dress, try added a pair of super sexy red shoes, or brighter version of your colour scheme, no one will expect it and everyone will talk about how great an idea it is.
If you don't quite fancy the bright shoes how about trying bright colour flowers or maybe bright coloured bridesmaid dresses.
Simple, fun and creative!

Check out some of the fun ideas below see what you think, have a great day xx

Being a DIY bride!!! Tip 1

Baby food jars make a fab tea night decoration, they come in different shapes and sizes! Simply clean out any remaining baby food and soak in hot soapy water to remove the label, then tie ribbon, fabric, lace or pretty string around the middle or top of the jar! Then place a tea light in the jar, tad dah!!! Pretty tea light holder!! Hope this helps!
Love Kayleigh
Also adding crafting wire around the top to make a handle, and you have hanging tea lights!!

Boho brides

Boho is bang on trend this season, and looks to stay there for a while. I love the boho, its natural, and unstructed style, with bold flower head bands or elegant pearl headpieces. Lace, chiffon and silk all play a part in the boho wedding dresses. Simple lines, and soft fabrics work this style.
Keep it simple, don't over style it! Here's a few of my favourites.

That night, sleeping is optional

The set of lingerie you will wear on your wedding day is not an easy choice. And not just by the amount of models and cuts that there are, but because it is sometimes not easy to fit lingerie that you like with the kind of dress you have chosen.
The main objectives of the bridal lingerie are the body outline, beautifying the waist, highlight the figure and maximum comfort and beauty.

If you are going to wear a strapless neckline dress, you have two possible options of lingerie. The strapless bra or the bustier (corset), which helps beautifying the waist, reduce volume on your tummy and enhance your appearance.

In case you have a  fine lace dress, choose a set of satin and lace vintage inspired.

If your problem is that your dress has a plunging neckline, there are solutions. There are lingerie brands that have special models to get an unnoticed bra effect.

If you've chosen a mermaid silhouette dress, the best option is opt for a set with culotte and, if possible, with few seams.

Finally, if your dress is steamy and languid silhouette, simply, choose the bra that you prefer.

I hope I have helped somewhat with all the decisions a bride has to make up to the big day. I would love to help you with this and much more! So please fell free to email me at lucia_evissa@gmail.com

Have a lovely day!xx

Transport on your big day

Morning everyone, i thought id talk about transport to and from your wedding and reception venues, some people forget this aspect from the budgeting and therefore tend to panic nearer the day, and who really wants to add more worry and stress? Some brides have their heart sets on a horse and carriage and some have given it no thought.

Think of distance of travel to and from venues, the size of the interior of the car, if you want all your wedding party in one car or more or do you want different style of car for the rest of the wedding party and finally the budget.

The different styles of cars from traditional weddings transport such as:
  • Rolls Royce
  • Bentley
  • Mercedes
  • Jaguar
  • Limousine
  • Horse and carriage
or maybe something a little different;
  • Helicopter
  • Double Decker bus
  • VW van
  • Vespa
  • Hot air balloon
  • Sports car
or to help keep cost down try asking a family member or friend who has a car you would like to take you or maybe hire a car for the day and ask an usher to drive you instead of hiring a wedding car or if you don't live too far away perhaps walk to the venue you can show off your dress.

Hope some of this helps or gives you some ideas. have a great day xx

Your Younger Guests !

This weekend I have decided form an alliance with the smallest family members. All of us we have been children and we have gone to the weddings with resignation and little enthusiasm. The uncomfortable clothes, reunion with distant relatives who were going to hug you and kiss your cheeks and also, we should have a good behaviour ... in short, the weddings were not the perfect plan .

Nowadays, weddings are quite varied and grooms count with the help of wedding planners who think also on details to entertain your younger guests.

Today we are going to show some ideas to liven up the kids wedding table. Make this day special also to your younger guests with a fun games and a colorful decoration. You can go further with the table's decoration with movies' topics like Alice in Wonderland; or if you have an original imagination, you can propose a game of spy to looking all the things of the list around the wedding.

Have a smashing day! At Evissa we'll having it at EDP Wedding Show! Don't forget visit our stand! xx

How to turning a village hall from drab to chic!!

So today's blog comes from a couple of my friends, who are using village halls, and pavilions as their venues, as the current climate is, and more and more couples are paying for their own wedding. Couples are sourcing cheaper alternative venue locations. Instead of a scary £4000, just for hire of rooms, village halls are over half the price for hiring.
Newly built village halls don't look like the typical village halls anymore, they are more elegant, some even resembling barns.
The bonus with a lot of village halls and such like buildings that they  are a blank canvas, if your prepared to put in the work, or hire a company like Evissa, you can transform it into a magnificent venue.
