Wednesday was all about the reception drinks. And going DIY with it. I love the vintage drinks dispensers, and these are so versatile!
Thursday was about cake and dessert tables, just imagine various cakes on mis match stands, yummy!! I do love the idea of getting family involved by asking them to supply a cake!
Friday Charlotte gave us wedding underwear, from matching sets to basques, silk to lace!
Saturday was me again, I gave you ideas on creating place names everything from scrabble pieces to Lego name!!!

Place Names....

So today's blog comes come insipration I saw on a wedding social media picture. It was just a picture of a table set up, but the place names caught my eye instantly, it was made up of scrabble pieces!!
Then I had a look around, and there was some fabulous ideas! For my own wedding, we used wooden pegs! And they ended up being worn all night! Pebbles work really well to. As well as corks. And these are an inexpensive idea to!

Under the dress.

Good morning,

I thought id give you all some ideas on what to wear UNDER your dress, give your new hubby something to unwrap. I think the less said on this subject is best, and looking is always bette so
see if any of it catches your eye.

Cake....

Ok so if your like me and adore cake, but can't quite decide which flavour, type, colour and design too have as your wedding cake, ever thought about a dessert table. No!! Well it seems that this restaurant inspired option is becoming increasingly popular! Just imagine it, a table full of your favourite cake!
But on a more serious note, this option, if your a DIY bride can work out inexpensive, and this could double up as favours, dessert and wedding cake.
Or maybe asking your guests to make a cake to add to your dessert table, a lovely idea to get people involved too.
Have a wonderful day xx

Drinks reception.....

Morning! So on today's blog it's all about the drinks! From DIY to cocktail bars.
Drinks receptions are a very traditional way of welcoming your guests to your reception, drinks include champagne, Buck's Fizz and Pimms!
But how about something a bit more up to date, how about homemade lemonade  with fresh lemons, or fresh orange juice! Iced teas work well too. But we can't forget Pimms to!! The look of the vintage drinks dispensers are just beautiful, various all sorted jugs work really well to.
Have a fabulous day.....

Weddings in the rain.

Good morning,

Well as yesterday and today the sky seems to have opened, i though why not embrace the rain.
As we all know even in the summer months the great British weather can never guarantee that the heavens wont open. So know matter what month your weddings in, theres always a chance your going to get a little (or a lot) of rain on your big day.

So why not get creative with the rain.

Today's inspiration comes from my beautiful bride Kelly from Saturdays wedding.
Not only had she planned her outside blessing to perfection it was touch and go right till the last minute thanks to the good old British weather!
Thankfully the rain held off and she managed to have the perfect day!
Here some inspiration to style your outside ceremony.
