How do you honeymoon?

Morning!! 

Now honeymoons, me and the h2b have had numerous discussions about our honeymoon? Do we save money and opt for a UK destination or do we go all out and fly off to the Sun, sea and sand destination.....

Well we've gone for a UK destination, and saving cash for the US next year....

So I've been troweling the web for some luxury cottages and boy I haven't been let done and for a quarter of the price of jetting off somewhere....so brides my advice today is, that with the current climate don't feel pressured into going somewhere that your going to need to remortgage your house for, just remember your honeymoon is about you and your h2b and spending time together, relaxing and reflecting.

Green envy.......

Morning, I feeling all green with envy today!! Well about plants that is.
Green is my favourite colour and add a touch of the outside in. Plants make a great venue statement. They also make a great centre piece to!
Plants are available to hire or buy from various suppliers, but hiring helps keep costs down.

Weekly round up 19th-24th

Morning.
Well another bank holiday has reached us!! And it was the celebrity wedding of the year Kim and Kanye tied the knot in France. Can't wait to see the pictures!
Well we started off the week with vintage cars, from american caddies to moris minors!
Tuesday was all about food, fast food is becoming more and more popular! With burger and fish and chip vans turning up at the venue to feed your guests.
Wednesday was more food, but cake! But naked cake, this is a Victoria sponge tiered with fresh cream and strawberries, yummy!
Thursday, was sage and silver, I love this colour palette.
Friday, was all about late night wedding ceremonies, getting married under the stars, so romantic.
Saturday, was all about remembering loved ones who can't be there, on your big day.

As a nation, we love cake and the love of baking has been reignited by programme such as 'the great British bake off' but like myself more and more bride and grooms are turning their hand to making their own wedding cake.
Naked cakes are becoming more and more popular, with simple Victoria sponges turning heads with fresh cream and strawberries.
