Who are you and what is your business?

We, Claire Nugent & Nigel Morter, together started Wedding Wheels-next-the-Sea three years ago when we moved to North Norfolk. We have restored our 3 sixties classic cars over the years and now enjoy sharing them with couples on their special day. Our chauffeur driven British classic cars add something completely unusual to the offering of wedding services in Norfolk.

Our cars:

Hillman Super Minx Convertible is stylish, elegant and fun

Humber Super Snipe Luxury Saloon offers outstanding luxury, comfort and style

Hillman Super Minx Estate is something a bit more quirky

How did you get into your chosen career?

We moved to Norfolk when we bought The Control Tower on the old North Creake Airfield in October 2011 with the aim of setting up, not only our home, but also a new shared livelihood of a small, unique, Art Deco B&B alongside our wedding car hire with our 3 British classic cars of the 60s.

What services do you offer to couples?

We are passionate about offering the best service we can. We take pride in tailoring our service to meet our couple’s needs and are happy to talk through all the options with our clients until they are happy with the plan for their day.

On the day, whether they hire one, two or all three of our cars we won’t take another booking so we can dedicate all the attention required on such an important day. We were concerned if we let our cars go out with other drivers we might not achieve the high level of service we feel is needed.

We also like to offer a little extra – like an extended drive between the ceremony and the reception to give them a moment to themselves or to have some photos in a scenic spot. We also offer ice bucket and glasses if they want a post ceremony toast. These are part of our service and are offered at no extra cost. Our couples really appreciate these little added extras.

  Favourite part of your job?

Knowing that we have added a little vintage sparkle to their special day and provided a bubble of calmness for them. So many of our testimonials comment on how relaxed they feel in our cars which, on such a potentially stressful day, is exactly what we want to achieve.

Any special offers on at present?

As we run a vintage styled Bed and Breakfast in North Norfolk (www.controltowerstays.com) we are offering those who book with Wedding Wheels-next-the-Sea 50% off a night stay in The Control Tower... several people have taken us up for their Wedding night which is just delightful for us.

Eco Weddings....

Morning, today's blog is all about Eco weddings. And I don't mean hippies and jos sticks!
Eco weddings, is all about using what's around you-nature. Bringing the outside in.
Colours could include browns and shades of green. Flowers could be colourful wild flowers, daisys and lots of foliage.
Favours would be great as small hessian bags with bird seed, or garden seed. How about homemade soy candles, or jam, the options are endless!
But this type of wedding isn't for a big princess dress, oh no the dress needs to be kept simple yet beautiful. Think boho!
Here's a look at today's insipration, we are now on tumblr, so don't forget to check us out!

hand made with love.

Good morning all,

So todays ideas are all about some hand made love! if your on a tight budget or just simply love to make hand made gifts then this is perfect for you.

From home made edible gifts, to homemade wedding cake, to even home made make up, look online there is so many craft things to do, it will probably take a little longer to make most items than simply ordering them or buying them but a hand made touch is an added little bonus!

So WOW your guest with some creative and heartfelt gifts.
