OK, so I'm not normally into today's theme, but I was feeling inspired but Charlotte's 'cheeky cherry' blog yesterday! And oh my god, I think I'm converted! I absolutely live this wedding theme! When it comes to the 1950's its all about big bold colours, lace, tea length dresses, and musical inspired styling.
Wedding dresses and the bridal party, I love tea length dresses, halter necks' coloured petty coats and colourful bridesmaid dresses.
Groomsmen and his party, its all about being well groomed, slick back hair, bow ties, braces and fitted suits.
Styling, I love the colours associated with the 1950's, the bright reds, blues, purples etc, but teamed with more calming colours such as Tiffany blues.
Here's a look at today's mood boards......
A friendly blog for all things wedding from themes to dresses, for every type of couple!
Welcome!
Best wishes and Happy Planning!
