Blue and silver

Good morning,

Today's post I'm showing you a blue and silver colour theme.
I love these colours although it does remind me a little of the film frozen and therefore i feel its more Christmas time theme, but no matter what time of the year, it still looks stunning.

Have a look and see.

Table Plans

After completing a table plan for a client, I then wondered if table plans are over looked. How wrong was I! After looking at Pinterest and various other internet sites. I was wrong! Looking at table plans, they express the couples creavity. Whether doing it yourself or allowing somebody else to do it for you, it needn't be expensive. I've seen potted plants, mirrors and chalk boards to name but a few ideas!
Here's a look at some ideas.....

Wednesday, August 20

It's all about feathers.....

Morning! So today's all about feathers, from peacocks to white doves.
Feathers can be used within centre pieces, stationary, bouquets, hair pieces and even the dress!!
BUT don't go over board, if not it can look tacky rather than classical...
Here's a look at today's mood boards....

Shoes, shoes, shoes!

Good morning,

Todays post is about....SHOES!!! yes ladies its all about shoes today.
We all know shoes are great no matter what the occasion, but a your wedding shoes are very important, if you plan to be in your shoes all day then you need to think of a few key factors into picking your perfect pair.

1st - Heel height; You don't want killer heels if your not use to wearing them as that is going to kill your feet straight away, so you need to think about your dress length and if you want a peek a boo effect whilst walking, also think about if your going to have a picture wear your feet and shoes are going to be on full display.

2nd - Shoe style; Are you going for court, peep toe, sling back, pumps or wedges? so many styles to think of. Are you going for plain and simple or maybe a sparkly pair or lace?.

3rd - flooring; Yes it may sound silly but consider the flooring at your venue it will play a big part of how long you feet last through the day. If you have an outside wedding stiletto heels are not going to be great to walk in, try wedged heel.

So with these simple steps in mind have a look at what I've found.

Some sneak peaks from Gemma Lamb Mua

Good morning!
Today I share some sneak peeks from my 2014 brides !
Take a look!

Anna choose a up do for her big day consisting of height at the front and a plait coming across the back, we then barrel curled the rest, with natural make up featuring brown smokey eyes and nude lipstick it complimented her dress beautifully!  Anna married at Norwich registry office followed by a small reception at Dunston Hall.

Kerry booked me just for her make up and choose a striking peacock blue eyeshadow which matched her something blue necklace. With pink blush and lips Kerry wore a silver silk gown for whimsical wedding nr fakenham.

Louise married at the beautiful Stower grange in June. With natural bridal make up Louise had long hair extensions which framed her lovely dark eyes and brows. Using false lashes to enhance photos we curled all her hair and fitted her stunning tiara.

My beautiful bride Kat also married at Stower grange in the most elegant dress!
Kat also choose very natural make up and her bridal hair included being swept back to a low barrelled bun with sweeping sides. The most elegant hair peice was applied around the bun which suited Kat perfectly!

Remember brides my books are open now for 2016 and popular dates are already going fast! Contact me through the website www.gemmalambmua.co.uk where you will find all the prices and lots more brides, bridesmaids and flower girl pictures to view.
