Weekly round up

Hello everyone,

So another weeks ended, and a new one starts.

We started the week off with a winter wonderland, with some magical ideas.
Next Kayleigh brought us to a spooky mid week with a Halloween special, spooky and spectacular!!
She also showed us some fantastic ideas on how to keep the kiddies amused and entertained! Although I'm sure most of the adults would live them too!
Friday Gemma gave us a naughty idea of naked Friday, yes that's right naked cakes!
Saturday I took inspiration from Gemma and bounce back with some cake alternatives, from a cake of cheese to a ice cream cone cake!

Lots of fun and interesting things a to come

Alternative cake ideas!

Good morning,

So today's post is all about cakes, with a little twist.

If your struggling with what to style or flavour cake  to have for your wedding day, pause for a moment to take a look at the picture below, as I have found some rather brilliant and different ideas on the traditional cakes.

From a cheese cake to a cake pop, there are ideas coming from every which way! So have fun and see what ideas you can come up with.

Have a great weekend! Xxxx

Naked Friday!

Good morning, well as its Friday I thought we would have a naughty one!
I LOVE naked cakes! From the moment you lay your eyes on it something makes your mouth water!
Style them on old wooden logs, tall glass stands the list is endless. Ideal for summer weddings stuffed with fruit and berries and raspberry sauce dripping down the sides, or decorate with chocolate truffles and thick chocolate sauce for a warmer winter feel,
Take a peek and remember its naughty Friday !!

Keeping the kids entertained.

If you have got little people attending your big and want to keep them entertained, here's some ideas to think about. A kids table, with arty bits, games, puzzles and bubbles. An I spy game, with checklist and camera. A kids cave (love this idea), glow sticks, big outdoor games, like jenga and connect four.
Here's a look at some insipration.....

Halloween wonder.....

Morning, with Halloween only 10 days away, it makes me think about Halloween themed wedding, and it doesn't always have to be tacky, red and black work well together, as well as orange and black.

Winter wonderland

Good morning,

Today I've looked out the window to rain and a lot of it, so its inspired this mornings blog for a winter wonderland.

I love all things Christmas and would defiantly have a winter wedding myself, even though its cold it gives your day a magical feel. Take a look and see if it makes you all warm and fuzzy inside!

Hope you all have a great day

Weekly round up

Another week of blogs has flown by, so Monday we saw Gemma looking at trashing your dress! Would you be brave enough to do it?!
Tuesday, Charlotte gave us plaits. I do love a good plait, whether it be a fish tail or simple braid. Plaits look stunning with flowers placed in them.
Wednesday, I brought a new idea for a winter wedding, a hot chocolate bar...I love this idea, welcoming guests with a warming drink!
Thursday, I looked at centre pieces especially for the autumn and winter months!
Friday, with the wet weather the blog was inspired with Wellies.
And finally Saturday was all about short hair dos!! And not to be scared to go with a short do, they can look just as beautiful!!

Saturday, October 11

To chop or not to chop.....

Morning all!!
Now there's a preconceived idea that bridal hair has to be long and flowing, but it doesn't, brides don't get sucked into trying to grow your hair if it's just not you. Short wedding is just as fabulous!
Take a look.....

Wet Wellies!

Good morning,

As the rain has started to fall, I thought even though a pair of Wellies may not be the perfect pair of wedding shoes, it very well may be what you end up wearing on your big day, especially if you have opted for an out door wedding!
So this post is to give you some fun ideas on how to embrace the fact the rain may come down but will not put a damper on your day. So check out these wet Wellies and have fun in the rain!
