Friendly fast food.

Hello everyone,
Today I'm feeling a little lazy so I thought I'd show you some friendly fast food ideas for your wedding day. Not everyone likes the 3 course wedding breakfast nowadays,  and are deciding to go for a different and easy approach to food from afternoon tea to gourmet burger and chips, what ever your favourite fast food take out is there's always someone who will provide it for your big day.
See what ideas I've found and see if any of theses tickle your fancy.

Whimsical woodland

Good morning, ever dreamed of a fairy tail woodland wedding? Boho and whimsical themes create magical days and if you love a bit of DIY then this theme is for you! Make use of all the natural resources, sticks, twigs and leaves can make some wonder centrepieces and sawn logs are great cake stands! Drape linen from trees to make a ceremony area and if bad weather? Then only a tipi style marquee will do!

Lets hear it for Wimbledon!!

In celebration of Wimbledon and all things quint essentially english, I'm going to look at strawberries, champagne (OK not quite so English) and Pimms!!!
Strawberries, whether you enjoy a classic Eton mess for dessert, strawberries and cream or chocolate dipped strawberries.
And the classic naked Victoria sponge, with fresh strawberries and cream!!
Pimms, everybody loves Pimms, a very English drink, whether in liquid form or sorbet!

Mike Savory - video exclusive!

Good morning today I hand over to Mike's bride and groom to share there special day x

A wedding day is often described as the happiest day of your life and for us this couldn't be more true. After 14 months of planning and making many decisions that would make the day special it finally came around and we had an amazing time with our friends and family and everything went the way we planned. One hard decision when it comes to planning a wedding is weather or not to have a videographer, for us this was something that took a while to decide but now looking back it was one of the best decisions we made. The moment we met Mike we knew we had made the right choice, he met us at our venue and we chatted for ages all about what we wanted videoed from the day and also gave us many ideas about how he could capture our day and it felt that he was as passionate as we were about making our day special. We went away from our first meeting feeling very happy and we were confident that we had chosen the perfect man for the job. Throughout the planning process Mike was great with communication, answering all our questions we had. When it came to our big day and the time for mike to do his work it was almost as tho he wasn't there he just blended into the background capturing everything we wanted. He was very professional throughout the day and we had comments oh how nice and friendly he was. After our day had passed we were really looking forward to seeing what Mike had created for us and within a few of weeks he sent us our taster teaser video with some of the highlights of our day in it, this in itself was amazing and worth every penny. The way it was put together with the effects and the music was Superb and being able to put it online for all our friends and family to see was great and the comments we got back were fantastic. A few weeks later we got the completed full dvd back which also contained lots of pictures taken from the video, we were really thrilled with the amazing job he had done and it was clear to see he had put a lot of time and effort into creating it, we ordered a few copies to give to our parents and it is certainly something we will love to watch in years to come and it's great to have those memories treasured forever. We honestly couldn't recommend Mike highly enough he is a pleasure to deal with and does an amazing job in capturing the big day.

Orange burst.

Good morning,

Today i thought id show you the uncommon wedding colour of orange. To me orange is a colour for your wedding that can go really really wrong or really really right. Being a bright powerful colour, too much of it can over power your day and take the centre spotlight. Howerver just the right amount can make your wedding day a fresh, bright and beautiful one. Take a look at what i found on the colour orange.

Have a great Friday!! XXX

Wedding tipis!!!

Feeling inspired by the 'Royal Norfolk Show', today's blog is all about tipis and bell tents! I love them, the atmosphere they create, the beautiful back drop for ever lasting memories. Decorated with twinkling fairy lights, candles and tea lights for the evening or drapped in bold back light
Natural and rustic benches, decorated with water pales, and watering cans filled with fresh country inspired flowers. Wood and log centre pieces! Oh I just love it!! Here's today's mood board.....

My own wedding day!!!

Morning, this is my first blog since my own day, and seems only right I should blog about it!!
Well I'm now Mrs Richards! I wouldn't have changed a thing, even the bits that weren't quite right, like the weather, and the building work at the abbey, I was in such a panic about the day before, I didn't even notice it on the day, nor did my guests.
I loved every minute of it, all the details, the bouncy castle was a hit, the sweets and the camper van photo booth were too!
All I can say is I had an amazing day, can't believe its over after 2 years! Brides to be, my advice is just enjoy the day, and take a step back with your husband and look at what you have done. My favourite memory would be dancing with my husband outside in a tent under fairy lights, at midnight, taking it all in!

As a money saving tip you could always try making some yourself, with fresh flowers or even fake flowers and use them to decorate at home with as a constant reminder of your wedding day.
