Camrovision Photobooth Fun!

Can you believe it is Friday already?! Where did the week go? That does mean some fabulous work from one of our featured suppliers for you to feast your eyes on, and today we are very lucky to have another helping of wedding fun from the creative Camrovision Photography!

Kelly and Simon Tabiner were married at Southwood Hall on the 15th June, 2013, however Paul wasn't attending as photographer, but instead as a guest, as he watched his beautiful sister walk down the aisle and marry the man she loves. Now even though he didn't have to do his usual photography duties, he couldn't resist getting a camera in his hands for just a little bit, and so set up one of his amazing photobooths, complete with fun props, as a special treat for the newly-weds and other guests. Marquee inspiration !

Good morning ! 

At last summer is here and I'm hoping to see a lot more outdoor weddings across the East ! however as we know, you always need a plan B in this country, and with my love of DIY, weddings marquees, Yurts and tents are clearly the best route for this English summer weather! 

Here's how to decorate using my favourite techniques ! Turning a blank canvas, into something amazing ! 

C'est L'amour

Paris. The city of love. Amour. The iconic locations for proposals. 

And what a wonderful city it is; so many amazing galleries, cafes and landmarks. The Eiffel Tower in particular stands tall above the skyline as a marker of this romantic capital.

For couples who got engaged in Paris it would be very poignant to bring Paris to the wedding ceremony and reception.

You don't have to be as cliche as berets, onions and striped tops... To me Parisian women and men are elegant and timeless and this is what I would try to portray in a Paris wedding. Begin with soft pastel flowers, add in some delicious macaroons and some classic lace and you're half way there to achieving the desired look.

Don't forget the simple yet incredibly yummy pastries such as croissants, some smelly cheeses and some vintage perfume bottles as centre pieces.

A Burst of Bright in Neon

Well, I don't want to jinx it, but it kind of looks like Summer may have returned, having even enjoyed a BBQ yesterday! And to honour the sun, we are going bright. Super bright. That's right, we are going neon!

Neon is great if you want to make a bright and bold statement for your wedding. It's fun, it fearless, it brings back those memories of vintage 80's and I think makes you feel alive. There are so many ways to bring this fun and funky theme into your big day, from what to wear to your wedding accessories. You can have flowers or fake, coloured dresses or coloured petticoats, even bright icing or bright sponge for your cake. The possibilities are endless, which is even better because you can really make your day unique to you.
