Some Of My Favouite Wedding Ideas....

I have been researching some wedding designs over the last few days and thought I would share with you some of my findings, as you know anything that I can do a DIY job on then I have to share with you! I'm such a fan of handmade wedding items and these images will show you the most beautiful looks without breaking the bank !

Some lovely favour ideas, candy lollies are fab, great for all ages and a perfect for a carnival/funfair theme. Handmade iced apples are so elegant and will instantly add a focal point to your place settings, But my favourite has to be the bird-seed heart, so easy to make and a will suit any rustic wedding !!

Centre trees are so beautiful and the amount of designs are endless, team up with these beautiful hanging charms, fresh flowers or droplets or even use as a wishing tree and leave your guests some luggage tags to tie a message for you on !

Outdoor lighting is something im working very closly on at the moment as I have two weddings that are using outdoor space as their reception area. Lighting can really make a venue change from day to evening so its important to get it right, one of my venues is an old barn and so we cant use naked flames, so all candles are a no go so its important to do the research and transform this venue.

Flowers are the best use of colour, not only will your flowers be one of the first things your guests see, it also gives them an insight to what colour scheme your reception will be, bold and bright to subltle and minimal, flowers play a big part in weddings, so get it right dont be afaird to experiment, centerpieces, corsqurge, buttonholes, flowergirl wands/poses bouquets, decorations and garlands are just a few ideas!!
