Who are you?
Baytree is a mobile pizzeria that can be set up in practically any location, making it the perfect choice for your private function or event.
How did you get into your chosen career?
We have always loved pizza and the relaxed way in which the Italians enjoy their food, so after a trip to Italy a few years ago we decided to take the plunge and buy our first wood-fired oven. We started out doing local food festivals and events, but gradually began to get booked up for weddings all over East Anglia. It has been so popular we now have several ovens and a very full diary!
What do you offer brides and grooms?
People love the fact our pizza oven is such a feature at their wedding plus our unlimited pizza package means that they don't have to worry about running out of food! Also, we pride ourselves in our pizza dough, which is made freshly every day and gives the thin crust base that lovely crunch. We have also recently introduced crepes to our repertoire as it is something else that people can see made right in front of them, whilst being a bit different from the usual wedding day dessert. The next thing on our hit list is wood-fired catering. We are currently working with a great chef to come up with some really exciting menus to cater for more formal dining with a difference. watch this space!
