The Magic Man....URBAN STREET STYLE MAGICIAN !!

Meet Chris! Chris is a urban street style magician who started a hobby as a magician specialising in card tricks and close up effects.

''I dabbled in a bit of close up magic in school and I used it to get me through school, I then lost interest because I was nervous at dealing with people because I was always quiet. Then I thought is it possible to do it without getting nervous. So a few years later I started to learn some magic as a hobby and have since used it to help me in dealing with customers and overcome my weaknesses in performing something that I would never have thought possible until now''

Being new to the game, Chris has built up his confidence by performing and amazing people around Norwich area. He has performed in the Queen’s pub, Anglia square and at the Norwich City football ground! Some top venues around Norwich, most recently performing at The Sprowston Manor Hotel Where he gained excellent feedback.

Chris packages involves entertaining people for two hours, involving a stand up act and mingling with the guests. He even does a free demo so you can try before you buy!!
Either way you'll love what you see from an amazing entertainer.

Chris covers in and around the Norfolk area.

So if you need a entertainer for your next party, or maybe a pub or gig night or even a wedding. The Magic Man has been messing about with cards and close up stuff with everyday objects available on the street for nearly 4 and half years, and is sure to provide a top class act!

Mother of the bride....

Today's blog is one for the mum's out there!
Mother of the bride is a very important role at a wedding and will be talked about almost as much as the bride !! Every last detail will be looked upon from the hat or fasinator to the type of dress worn to the exact height of the heels !!
Here's a look at some of my favourite mother of the bride dresses from designer Linea Raffaelli...

* Helpful Hint- Stay away from prints it can pull attention away from the bride and you wont that!!

As mother of the bride you will most probably want to make an impression on your daughter’s big day. The mother of the bride plays such a important role on a wedding day. You will want to feel elegant and confident, and sophisticated, along with being extra supportive to your daughter and family. The mother of the bride should choose an outfit that flows with the theme and style of the wedding. Whether it be a dress, a skirt, or a trouser suite the mother of the bride will want to feel comfortable, but also really look the part on this very special day.

A wedding day, in the eyes of all women, is all about the dress. Brides are transformed from an every-day woman into the princess the always dreamt of, while her bridesmaids are often dressed in gowns only the bride can truly love. For the mother of the bride (or the mother of the groom), finding the perfect dress can be serious, emotional business.
For most mums, this process becomes really emotional.  Its because they want to find a gown that their daughters will love, they want a dress that makes them feel beautiful on their daughter's big day, A dress that will bring a smile to both the bride's and their own faces. Most often, the chosen gown is a mid-length affair topped by a formal jacket. Whether this is for you, or not, there are a lot of thoughts that go into the choosing of mother of the bride dresses.

How and When to Choose Your Dress
I always think, it is best to wait on choosing your dress until the bride and bridesmaids' dresses have been chosen. As by then the bride will have establish a colour scheme. The mother of the bride dress should compliment that colour scheme, but not match the colours themselves. If at all possible, it is best to coordinate with the mother of the groom's dress as well; if one wears a long dress, then traditionally the other should also wear a long dress.
By thinking about complimenting the bride's colour scheme and trying to coordinate with the groom's mother, you might think about simply asking the bride what she would suggest so that your choice of colour and style (whether long, short, modern, or classic) compliments the overall style of the wedding.
Some things should go without saying, but it's best to mention them anyway. Remember to stay away from white, or any other colour that the bride herself will be wearing on her special day. Black dresses, although resemble a funeral, are right on trend for 2012, so check with your daughter first !
Plan ahead, and purchase your dress as soon as possible.  As in many stores, you will have to special order mother of the bride dresses because these speciality shops only stock a limited number of styles, sizes, and colour's.
When you begin to search to find the perfect outfit, most mothers will find a variety of styles to try. Whilst the most common dress is a mid-length formal dress with a jacket, there are other options and styles to work with depending on the style of the wedding.
Long-length dresses, cocktail dresses, and short gowns with a more non-traditional feel are popular options for youthful mothers who don't want to look like the typical mother of the bride. Straight column dresses and A-Line shapes are definitely in style for all mothers. If the bride is having a church wedding, think about opting for a jacket to cover spaghetti straps and bare shoulders.
