A girls night in ........

A good old fashioned pamper party is just what you need when your a few weeks away from your big day. A good catch up with the girls and a Gavin and Stacey box set! A few glasses of wine and a huge box of chocolate always works a treat !!
So here are a few homemade treats for your face to try, Easy to make and very detoxifying, sit back and relax and don't forget the cucumber !!!

Radiance boosting papaya face mask.
Papaya is high in vitamins A, C and E, which are all really powerful antioxidants which help to protect against free radical damaged and help to rejuvenate the skin. Papaya's also contains papain an enzyme which helps to remove the dead skin cells which can be left behind from a facial scrub.

To make:
Juice a papaya or mash very finely, and sieve out the pulp,
Mix 1/4 cup of boiling water with 1 teaspoon of gelatine and simmer gently until the gelatine is dissolved. Leave the mixture in Luke warm water and nix in 1/4 cup of the Papaya mixture.

Application:
Spread a thin layer over the face and neck, avoiding the lip and eye area, leave for 20 mins and wash off with Luke warm water.
NB: do a skin test 48 hours before application incase your allergic to papayas.

Detoxifying apple cider vinegar and oatmeal scrub.

Ingredients:
1tsp apple cider,
3tsp organic porridge oats,
Honey,
Essential oils to pampering treat,

To make:
Simply add the oats to the cider vinegar and honey to make a paste like mixture.

Application:
Work into the skin using circular movements working outward and then rinse through thoroughly.
NB: this scrub might not be suitable for extremely dry skins may cause itching.

Honey face mask.

Ingredients:
1 egg
1 tsp of honey

To make:
mix the egg white until stiff, fold in the honey and then the egg yolk.

Application:
After cleansing apply a thin layer to dry skin and avoid the lip and eye area.
Leave for 20 mins and wash off.
