Save the dates ??

Good morning,

Todays blog is all about if you should have save the dates or not?
whats your opinon?
I personally sent mine out 9 months before as my family had to fly from Ireland and travel from around the U.K so i wanted to allow people time to save up and book travel and accomadation.
So I think yes , but what do you think.....

Save the Date cards:
Do you need them? When do you send them? Who should you send them to?
I can answer all of these questions…

Do you need them?: You only need to send them if there's one of two things, if you're having a destination or holiday wedding, or you having people travel to your wedding and they notice to save money or book arrangements.

When should I send them ?: If you're having a destination wedding or holiday wedding, eight months before the date is considered polite. This way, if your friends are like mine, it'll give them a good, long time to save the money and it's enough time in advance for them to know not to accept gigs or tours that coincide with that date. If your reason is for people with travel arrangements then 6 months is about right.
