Here is your chance to relive your chilhood bedtime stories. You can take two approaches to this theme; either use it as a subtle hint throughout the day or go full out and go as extreme as you can.
In the extreme version I picture your guests arriving dresses as pirates, indians, mermaids, lost boys or the Darlings. I picture the pageboy in beautiful fancy dress, perhaps dresses as Wendy's brother in a top hat. If a more subtle theme is what you're after, then perhaps leave little hints around the room; on the tables as part of the centre piece, in the lighting (Pharos fairy lights everywhere to give an enchanting feel), in the invitations and perhaps the cake.
Ways to take it further include Green drinks (tinkerbell), glitter (fairy dust), photos playing with shadows, pirate maps (table plans), party games with involve some kind of adventure), thimbles (wedding favours), ticking clocks (centre pieces), Peter Pan themed clothes and shoes and food....
How lovely to transport all of your guests to a place that they won't be able to help but adore! Everyone will feel like a child again, reminiscing about when they first experienced Peter Pan; the boy who never grew up. Return to your childhood for a gigantic celebration.
