Weekly Round-Up! (August 26th to 31st, 2013)

Another sun filled week has passed and we have been keeping busy with wedding wonders. Gemma and her new baby girl Poppy are settling in at home now, so me and Araminta have been running the fort this week. And for our Norfolk couples, the wedding show season has begun again, with the Wedding Spectacular taking place at St Andrews Hall, Norwich today (I'll be walking around so come say hi if you spot me!). And there are many more to come, keep an eye out this week for the upcoming fairs for the rest of the year. So, here's the past week in short form!

Monday was all about taking a break from planning and catching up with some wedding RomCom classics. From Sweet Home Alabama to The Wedding Singer, there is something for all tastes!

On Tuesday, Araminta was talking about bow ties. I love bow ties and know that the men at my wedding will be wearing them. Link them to a colour or theme on your day, and as you can see, there is plenty of choice for every type of couple!

Wednesday was all about bicycles and how to incorporate them into your wedding day. Inspired by Araminta's love of the poem Daisy Bell read to her when she was younger, there is plenty of inspiration for a bike ride of a day.

Thursday went to the land of Dr Seuss. Being one of my favourite authors growing up, I absolutely loved this post, filled with bright colours and imaginative ideas to bring a little bit of crazy into your day.

Friday I returned after a couple of days of my own birthday celebrations to bring you some amazing cake pops. A fast growing craze in the wedding world, they are great for favours, a cake alternative, and even place names1

Most of us have heard by now about the replacement of Christian Bale with Ben Affleck for the new Batman vs Superman film (an awful idea in my eyes, didn't the producers watch Daredevil...?). And it got me thinking, with so many couples opting for a comic book wedding theme, who wins.. Batman or Superman. You decide!
