Ice Cream Dreams

It's definitely that time if year! I'm spending as much time as possible in my garden, I'm wearing shorts, I'm eating ice cream. I love ice cream. It's just perfect for those days when the sun is shining and it's beautiful outside. Now for those of you thinking of having a summer wedding have you considered the appearance of ice cream at some point during your big day? The kids will love it (and the grown ups) and there are really quite a few good options available;

Hire
There are some great ice cream carts, bikes and vans available to hire, like Dan and Ali's Ice Cream Bike based in Norfolk. These companies are fab as they not only make delicious flavours of ice cream and sorbet but also provide outstanding service on your special day and will leave you able to relax and enjoy every moment http://danandalisicecream.co.uk/ .

Make your own
You could make your own ice cream if you are feeling creative and have the time and space. It's a great way to get children involved in the run up to the wedding and means you can choose and create the flavours of your choice! How daring are you feeling and how much time do you have? My friends once brought some delicious home made Baileys ice cream to a party once; I've been meaning to try to make it ever since but haven't quite got around to it...

Get creative
A ice cream cone cake? Risky if its a really hot day... It might not last long. But a great idea for a quick serving. Provide a "make your own" ice cream stand. Supply cones, ice cream and sprinkles and let the mess commence...

Get boozy
Why not add an ice lolly to some prosecco for a fruity ice cube! Yum. Or as a non alcoholic alternative you could make coke floats; brilliant.

So there you have it, some simple suggestions for how to cool down and chill out on your wedding day with ice cream.
