<< Real Wedding >> Angela Adams Photography

Hello Monday! And a not so happy Monday it is outside too! But that's okay, because I have another special treat for you all from Angela Adams Photography! Today we have a farm filled feast of wedding fun featuring Bride and Groom Katie and Adam... and a tractor! Read on to find out more from Angela!

You may be wondering why there’s a bright orange tractor featuring in many of these wedding photographs? Well, there was an emotive link, it was Granddad's! Groom Adam, also a farmer, restored this antique workhorse and drove it to the church, groomsmen loaded in the rear – bride Katie arrived soon after in dad’s Land Rover.

The ceremony went without a hitch at St Mary’s, Ellingham with the couple exiting the church through an arch of hoes. Katie’s Nan and Granddad's final resting place was St Mary’s too, so after the ceremony we paid our respects before leaving for the wedding breakfast.

It took the horse and cart over an hour to transport the bride and groom to Raveningham Barn, where a home-made country feast awaited guests. Tables were laid for a picnic, complete with baskets, mum’s home-made preserves, hams, scotch eggs and salads.

The weather wasn’t particularly kind for most of the day, but a late evening sun eventually shone allowing guests out onto the lawns for more tractor photos. Three generation of the Adam’s family (that’s Granddad standing at the front of the tractor) wanted to be photographed with the orange beast. Katie and Adam, it was a pleasure and an honour to photograph your wedding day… and as a female wedding photographer, I was in heaven photographing all the wonderful details and decorations you’d spent days preparing to adorn the barn.
