Cooling Down

To try and stay in-keeping with the weather we've been having I've decided to give you some suggestions on how to keep your guests from getting overheated at your summer wedding. These ideas are all great as some can be used as favours, killing two birds with one stone.

Your guests will want to stay cool, not get hot and bothered in the summer sun; here are some of my favorite ideas...

Fans

A hand held way to create a little breeze!

Chilled drinks

These will be essential to help your guest stay hydrated and cool.

Bottles of water to mist yourself with

A quick fix for calling down! Not everyones cup of tea but really amazing when you feel like you're melting.

Ice lollys and ice cream 

Great for guests of all ages! A sweet solution to lower your temperature.

Hats and parasols and sunglasses

A fashionable way to keep the direct sun off your guests faces! 

Sun cream and insect repellant

You don't want burnt and bitten guests; you want them to look back on the day with loving memories, not have it be "that wedding where they got horribly sunburnt and eaten by insects".

Flip flops

For hot feet. Let guests feet get some air with flip flops, these are also very kind for high heel wearing guests.

And if all else fails... Jump into the nearest swimming pool!
