Good morning everyone! Well its Michelle back again for another post and today it is pink weddings! Now I know the first thing that pops into your head is Jordan's wedding. Closely followed by My Big Fat Gypsy weddings. But pink doesn't have to be tacky, it can be done very well to be a beautiful colour to your day, for men and ladies! And with Reese Witherspoon (Legally Blonde, Cruel Intentions), Jessica Biel (The A Team), Gwen Stefani (No Doubt) and the very popular actress at the moment Anne Hathaway (Les Miserables, The Dark Knight Rises, Bride Wars) all picking pink dresses for their big day, it goes to show it must be true!
Its all about picking the right pink for you. I much prefer a soft and pastel pink as it is cute although for a more daring day, rock the hot pink. If you don't want to have the whole colour palate completely girly, maybe add some chocolate, orange or lime green to break up the theme. You also have so many flower choices, from cute tulips and carnations to stunning lilies and orchids (yes I love orchids!). Pink cakes, pink candles, even pink veils can be found.
Another fantastic idea? With charity donations for gifts being very popular for couples to do, how about theme your wedding around Breast Cancer Awareness and donate the money there? A wedding to remember. See below for more pretty pink pictures!
