And actually they can be really beautiful and incredibly artistic (don't get me wrong some are hideous!). So really it makes sense that if two people who already have (or want to have) tattoos, fall in love and decide to get married then get tattoos to commemorate their vows.
I've seen tattooed wedding bands before but it wasn't until I started searching the Internet for "wedding tattoos" that I really found some wonderful things.
Matching tattoos, tattoos which go together to make one whole tattoo, tattoo wedding bands, symbols of marriage, symbols of the relationship... The list is really endless.
I've decided to put together a few sample photographs I found on Pinterest to highlight some of the possibilities of how you can permanently (unless you have it removed...) mark your body to represent your love for another person. I think it's really rather romantic, although admittedly not up everyone's street.
If you get the right design for the two of you, done by the right tattoo artist, it can be spectacular and an incredible gesture of your condiment to that special person.
