Arabian Dreams

Last year I spent a little time in Morocco and while I was there I was fortunate enough to go and spend a few nights in the Sahara. We camped, rode camels and ate Moroccan cuisine. This led me to think about an Arabian wedding and how wonderful it would be. Think sand dunes, think vibrant colours, think exotic delicacies, think warmth.

By the big question is how to bring the hot sand to Britain?

The best place to start would probably be a beautiful tent. Hints of colour, tassels, little details, throws, giant cushions, low tables.

Next why not put your bridesmaids in rich colours? And as for the ushers you could find a few more subtle ways to introduce their colour splash.

Now for food... There are many options but stay away from anything too British. Spices, wonderful flavour, and (again) colour.

As for entertainment you could hire belly dancers to get all your guest in the Arabian knights mood. What a great way to kick off the dancing after the meal!
